  1. Be a United States citizen or national;
  2. Have no moral obligations or personal convictions that will prevent bearing of arms and supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States against all enemies.
  3. Be at least 17 years of age on or before 1 September of the year of enrollment and less than 27 years of age on 31 December of the year an applicant expects to graduate
  4. Meet physical requirements;
  5. Have the intention of commissioning as an Officer in the US Navy (Marine Option MIDN are not eligible for this scholarship)
  6. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certificate;
  7. Be accepted for admission as a full-time student at Tuskegee University.
  8. Once the preparatory year is complete, the student will automatically pick up a 4 Year NROTC Scholarship if the following conditions are met: Obtain medical clearance Pass the Navy’s Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA)Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. Agree to the terms of the scholarship contract
  9. Receive the Professor of Naval Science’s recommendations.

College Programmer

  1. U.S. Citizenship
  2. Not less than 17 years old by Sept. 1 of year starting college and no more than 23 on June 30 of that year
  3. Physically qualified by Navy or Marine Corps standards
  4. No moral obligations or personal convictions that prevent conscientious bearing of arms and supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States
  5. Be admitted to an approved NROTC college or university

USMC Frederick C. Branch

  1. Be a U.S. Citizen.
  2. Be 17 years of age by 1 September of the first year of college and younger than 27 on 31 December of the year in which college graduation and commissioning are anticipated.
  3. Be a high school graduate or possess an equivalent certificate.
  4. Be physically qualified and be within height-weight standards.Personally exemplify and display the following:Character-Morally qualified and no record of military or civil offenses.
  5. A score of 74 on the Armed Forces Qualification Test(AFQT), a composite score of 22 on the American College Test (ACT) or a combined score of 1000 in Math and Evidence-Based Reading on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).Meet admission requirements of an NROTC-affiliated college or university of choice.

Minority Serving Institution Scholarship Reservation (MSISR)

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen
  2. Must be a high school graduate
  3. Meet the required SAT and/or ACT scores. The minimum SAT scores are 550 Critical Reading, 540 Math (1100 combined), and the minimum ACT scores are 21 Math, 22 English (44 combined).*
  4. Be between 17-23 years of age by Sept. 1 of the year starting college
  5. Have no criminal record
  6. Be physically/medically qualified by Navy standards
  7. Be admitted to an approved NROTC college or university
  8. *Note: MSISR eligibility does not require 1100 combined, but you must still have SAT scores of 540 Math and 550 Critical Reading or ACT scores of 21 Math and 22 English.

National Scholarship

Navy Option

  1. Be physically qualified by Marine Corps standards. Applicants will be required to complete a physical fitness test (PFT) consisting of a three-mile run for time, sit-ups, and dead-hang pull-ups for males/flexed armed-hang for females.
