Description

The Four Year National Scholarship Program for Navy and Marine Corps Officers is available to incoming freshmen and students with less than 30 credit hours. The deadline for submission of your application is December 31st of your senior year in high school. The application window opens in June the year prior (summer before your senior year). The earlier you apply, the better your chances of attending your first choice school. Scholarships are nationally awarded based on a competitive selection process that considers such factors as high school GPA, class standing, ACT/SAT scores, extracurricular activities, physical fitness, leadership qualities and motivation. The scholarship covers tuition and fees, books, uniforms, and a $250 per month stipend your freshman year ($300 per month for sophomores, $350 for juniors and $400 for seniors). Tuskegee Naval ROTC DOES NOT accept 4 year national scholarship applications directly. Please check out the Naval Service Training Command website for more information on how to apply.
